Meet Marco
Founder and teacher at ItalianoQuick
I am Marco, an online Italian teacher, and I founded ItalianoQuick because I love the Italian language: its sounds, its difficulties and its beauty. I have always wanted to share that beauty with others.
I am also a writer. I have won several prizes for my poems and short stories, and that love of words is part of every lesson.
How I teach
Grammar and real, spoken Italian
You learn the rules, and you also learn how Italians actually speak.
Memory techniques
I teach mnemonics and memorisation strategies that make vocabulary and grammar easier to remember.
Italian songs
I use songs to help words and structures stick. Mina’s Se telefonando, for example, is a perfect way to explain the second type of conditional (if + imperfect subjunctive + conditional).
Lessons you will enjoy
There is a lot of laughter in my lessons, and they are never boring.
Qualifications and experience
- TIAFL diploma
- CILS examiner
- External GCSE Italian oral examiner
- Degree in Communication and Public Relations
- Italian, living in the UK since 2015
- More than 100 students in five years of teaching
Who it is for
Adults, children, GCSE students and anyone preparing for an Italian exam: whatever your level or goal, we will find the right path together.
“He is very knowledgeable in structuring lessons, giving you the correct grammatical format, along with also talking about common usage. He is clear, extremely patient and creates a relaxed atmosphere in the room.”
